I'm just now seeing this and I'm already at work and i have a funeral to go to after work but i should be able to try it tomorrow. All i have is a digital scale, hopefully it reads fast enough.

Mine is digital too. I plan on just increasing the pressure on the scale until the cart starts moving with no belt. Then see what the highest reading was. Then I'll check how much it takes to keep it rolling at a constant slow speed.

I found that it takes just shy of 40 pounds to get the cart moving, and between 30-35 pounds to keep it moving on flat, level asphalt. No belt.

I'm more in the 60 pound range to get it started, and to keep it rolling. With belt off, flat concrete. It was late last night, I'm gonna do a couple of more this morning to double check.

Wouldn't tire pressure be a factor in your comparison?

Tire pressure, brake adjustment, overall weight will also affect how easily it pushes.
