cooling system?
Since I'm not using my cart for golf I was wondering if anyone has come with a better cooling system? I was thinking maybe using an electric fan from a car, one with a thermostat. Do you guys think it would be beneficial?

Re: cooling system?
The flywheel has a fan that forces air through the cylinder fins. The metal shrouding is important to guide it to the right places. I removed my air cleaner canister, and was going to open up the sides of the body for better air flow. After seeing how open the underside of the compartment is, I decided that it probably wasn't worth it.
How much more cooling will a fan provide compared to how much more load it places on the engine which creates more heat? I don't know the answer to that. I think I would be more inclined to go with a passive cooling system like air scoops on the side of the body. |
