Default no low gear

My ezgo gas marathon lost gear, it will still move but only in high range. I just put a brand new 28 degree driven clutch on. It slipped out of gear and rolled a little then slammed back in gear...any suggestions? I was going to pull the clutch back off and just look for anything visible. If I take off fast, sometimes it will Start in low for about 2 seconds then slam in high....
