Re: 2 batteries are discharging fast
Sometimes the golf cart repair places will have "good-used-tested" trade-in batteries (although 12v used are less common) and that might be able to help out with your financial concerns (even though they won't last as long as new). You'll be taking a bit of a risk buying used (but not as big a risk as Marine batteries)!

Re: 2 batteries are discharging fast
A friend just bought 4 12s at a local battery distributor for 145.00 each. No special deal. Shop around, make some calls. Check Crown's, US Battery or Trojan's website and find their local distributor.

Re: 2 batteries are discharging fast
So could anyone tell me a couple of models of 12v batteries and can check for besides trojan. This way I can call around for best price. Everyone I call had 6 or 8v the 12v were marine.

Crown and US Battery are a couple good ones like 55BB mentioned above, also check your local Sams Club since you can't find them anyplace else, they carry 6, 8, and 12 volt golf cart batteries. They're either Energizer or Duracell, I forget which.
