how to test an ingniter

I have a 05 ezgo and I have no spark, had spark then all of the sudden the cart quit, replaced the coil but still no spark, was hope there was a way to check the igniter before I bought a new of them also.

ohm it out is sometimes handy, or just hook the plug up and have it touch the engine making a electrical contact.. you should see the plug spark when you turn over the engine.
