Re: MCOR reaching full potential? 5K?
So I have another questions. I found some online www.evdrives.com and there are 3 different models MCOR 2,3,4. My question is the does it matter which one i get? In the product details it says compatible with serial prefix PD and that is my serial prefix as long as it comes with the adaptor piece? Is one better than the other?
Thanks |

You want to get an MCOR 4. MCOR 3 was nothing but trouble for CC

Re: MCOR reaching full potential? 5K?
I have a non programmable logisystems 700, my mcor reaches 1100ohms. I tried a momentary jumper switch between green and yellow at the controller during wot and still get 1.1-1.2. Is there a way to reach 0ohms?,such as a momentary switch jumped between the black wire on the controller b- that feeds the mcor and either green or yellow at the throttle feed on the controller. I would think that a 22-25% reduction in signal at wot is really killing performance.

Moterin : Since you already are benefitting from Tahoe's knowledge and advice, why not support him and get your mcor thru him? He can get whatever you need, and he gives his endless time and advice to us all here for free

Re: MCOR reaching full potential? 5K?
That's an option since there are no reputable dealers/shops locally. but from everything im reading isn't 7100-1100ohms that im reading on my cart normal? I'm trying to reach 0 and get full throttle but am having trouble getting results. This controller was previously on my 98 with vglide resistor kit, 4ga welding cable, 8 6volts, 11.5hp beast motor with 26 inch tires and would catwalk with 2 people on the cart. Back then I knew I was reaching 0 ohms with the resistor kit. I removed the controller and installed a 400 amp prior to sale of the cart.

Re: MCOR reaching full potential? 5K?
7.1k/-------------/----------------------------------/---------------/0ohms
.........dead time 5k <--- throttle range --> 1.1k dead time This is what my mechanic brain tells me is not acceptable but there isn't much I can do about it. |

1100 ohms is full throttle on an MCOR equipped cart.
