Default 97 DS not charging all the way

97club car 48volt DS not getting full charge. plug in charger, it comes on needle jumps all the way over then goes to around 7. reset the obc plugged charger back in and the charger's needle jumped over to where it needed to be. I still don't think it charged all the way because I went on a little trip and came back to the house and the charge meter showed half charge. im thinking the obc maybe bad. now plug in the charger the needle goes all the way over then turns off after 5min.

If you can get ahold of another charger, try that first. Then you will know whether you can eliminate the charger for the equation.

Once you have got by the charger, maybe bypass the obc to see if it will charge.

ok I forgot to mention that I have tried another charger with same results. so to bypass the obc I guess I need to run a wire from the negative side of the solenoid to the B- on the controller?
