GE motor,Club Car ,installing speed sensor magnet,which way does it go on?

The high speed magnet is a 4 pole.
If the magnet has a backing plate and one side with the visible magnetic surface, keep in mind the hall effect sensor is on the outside of the motor. The visible magnetic surface should point towards the outside of the motor in this case. |

Installed magnet,with visual magnet marks toward the outside,tapped on with punch,I was very careful doing this,installed new new speed sensor,works great,fixed problem ! Thanks to all!

By the way,this was on a GEM GE motor,uses club car magnet and speed sensor!
