Default PH1109 Surges/jerkey at Slow speed

Surges/jerkey at Slow speed. Runs great a full speed. Must depress pedal a long way before carts moves. Speed sensor or MCOR problem? How do I test each?

It does sound like an MCOR problem. Test the speed sensor just in case, here is the test: http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...nsor-test.html

MCOR. Speed sensor won't cause a surge. If the sensor is bad it'll run smooth. Slow, but smooth.

i had a similar issue with my 03 IQ cart, dirt in the plugs is what i had
tricky to get the plugs out of the mcor when i pulled the mcor to test it
i was going to upgrade to mcor4 but dirt in the plugs was all it was
