intermittent stops
2007 Club Car electric Refurbished. Batteries less than 1 year old. Foot pedal assy. had been replaced under warranty about 4 years ago.
Current problem - Cart will run normally about 5 or 10 minutes then stop. Resetting the run/tow switch several times sometimes works. So I replaced the run/tow switch, but same problem. When it stops, I can feel the "motor brake" engage. After letting it sit for a few minutes it will start working again. During that time, when pressing the pedal it feels like it's trying to start. Also, moving the direction switch from forward to backward has no effect while it's stopped, but the back buzzer does come on. Sorry about the incorrect terminology, but I'm not a golf cart mechanic. Thanks in advance for any advice. Fred Last edited by fredm; 10-23-2016 at 06:08 AM.. Reason: spelling |
