I would repair it myself, 500.00 tops for motor, if controller was needed 3-500 or so for controller. So you are looking at 1000.00 parts plus labor.

Where are you located because those prices seem kind a high to me. Like others have said, for that kind of money you could upgrade the whole cart.

I forgot to mention earlier, the speed code 4 did not cause the problem, there are hundreds/thousands of carts running around on speed code 4 with no issues. Also the idea of rewinding your motor and replacing the brushes is what Plum Quick, which someone else suggested does. They are located in Fort Mill SC. Aflyer |
