Motor sizes for controller changes
I have a stock cc 3.1hp 48volt D.C. Sepex motor . I am looking too change out my stock controller (Curtis 250 amp) to a Alltrax xct400. How big,( should I decide to upgrade my stock motor later from 3.1 hp) will the xct400 Controller be able to handle horsepower wise?

Re: Motor sizes for controller changes
The 400XCT has a peak output of 460 amps. It should handle most aftermarket motors. Only the biggest motors would need more.
