Wink Club car 48volt won't move

Hey everyone I have a 2000 club car, new batteries are in it. I have 51.2 pack voltage. I tried jumping the solenoid big post to small post and it won't move. If I have it in reverse when I jump the solenoid I hear the units buzzer go off for a second or two. A0044-952136 is the number. Help please lol! Hope all has a great day!

you don't jump the small posts to the big ones

JACK UP CART AND PLACE ON JACK STANDS FOR ANY TESTING

do you hear the solenoid "click" ?
do you have a DVM ?

I did also jump the big terminal to the big terminal, yes sir it also is on stands! Safety first, I do have a DVM. I am a diesel mechanic I work with caterpillar, new to the golf carts. I hear a click, feels and sounds more in line with the accelerator pedal

the DVM is the most important tool for an electric cart

first check all the wiring give each a slight tug and wiggle

click to enlarge (click again to super size)

then test the solenoid

solenoid test
Quote:
Disconnect the negative battery cable from the battery. remove all wires, restorer , and diode from solenoid
test 1
Connect an volt meter, set on continuity, place on the two large terminal studs. The meter should indicate no continuity, Replace the solenoid if continuity is present.
test 2
Using jumper wires attach from main positive and main negative of battery pack to the two small solenoid studs, polarity is not important. You should hear a click as the solenoid engages, and the meter should indicate continuity on the two large terminals. Replace the solenoid if continuity is not present.
if solenoid clicks rapidly solenoid is bad

TIP : never use an electric cart frame as a ground

Ok I removed all wires, checked the big to to big post, I had no continuity, I then took a jumper wire from my positive to the small post and negative to the small post, no click no continuity between the 2 big post. I verified I had 48 volts between the 2 small terminals

Also after looking at the wiring diagram, I am missing diodes and all sorts of wires. I have on on big post side a solid red, a thin red wire, other big terminal is a yellow, then the smalls only have a single blue wire and a blue with white tracer

I do appreciate all the help, looking at the wiring diagram a little closer mine seems to have the v-glide accelerator could this be why the other color wires arent on the solenoid? and I know I can get a new solenoid tomorrow, but unsure of the resistor and diode, can I go on without it to see? or just order it and wait?
