JB should get a royalty for all these he's "sold" on here! LOL I ordered one from Amazon, after seeing JB recommend them. It makes life a lot easier when filling 8 batteries!

Yep.

You have to make sure the spout is vertical and centered in the cell filling hole, but other than that I haven't had any trouble.
Also, make sure the spout is fastened tight on the filler bottle and push the spout in once before using it to relieve any pressure or vacuum that may have built up due to temperature changes since the last time it was used.

The spout is a cutoff valve and no water comes out unless it is pushed.
If the fluid level is below the bottom of the spout when it is pushed, air bubbles into the bottle and water comes out until the fluid level blocks the opening in the spout tip so no more air can get into the bottle.

To see how it works, invert a pop bottle full of water in an empty glass.
