2008 TXT smell, shuts down, cools off starts again
Running along, all of a sudden she shut down with burning smell, sat there about 30 seconds, she took off, about 30 feet shut down again, smell, 30 seconds, able to accelerate buts shuts down again?

Sounds like the controller getting very hot and going into thermal cut off until cool enough to go again. Is this a series or PDS drive cart? PDS has rocker F&R in the dash.

I don't think he has an RXV given the title says TXT. It sounds like he's getting a master shutdown. It could be a loose connection that is arcing causing an overheat condition which the computer see's as an emergency stop situation. I had one doing the same a few days back. I've also on a few occasions found dirt dobber nest inside controller boxes that caused some similar issues.

all connections seem tight, don't see any burnt wiring or dirt dobbers nest
