98 EZGO TXT no movement
cart stopped while riding, cart has full voltage and the solenoid pulls in. the reverse beep also comes on. any thoughts on what else to check? this is my first cart and am at a loss.

seeing as how the solenoid "CLICKS" that circuit is working, so the most likely source is in the HIGH CURRENT circuit (LARGE CABLES).....so start looking at each and every cable, make sure they are tight and free of corrosion.

do you have a wiring diagram? so you can start tracing lines and verifying continuity....using a DVM?

i also am getting 38 volts across the solenoid without pressing the pedal. i do have the controller side wire disconnected

just replaced solenoid and that was not the problem how would i test a controller?
