2011 EZGO RXV brake problem
Hello,
I have a 2011 RXV with what i believe to be a brake issue. When driving the cart im getting a grinding noise from the rear axle. Yesterday i got the rear end up on stands and removed the brake and turn rear axle by hand, grinding noise was no longer there. which leads me to believe that the problem is in the brake. Ive tested the brake and i getting 28 ohms across it. ive also stripped down the brake and everything looks fine apart from a burnt clutch type smell. With it unplugged is there a test i can preform to check im getting the correct voltage to the brake? ive tested it with the cart on in neutral position but not getting anything? i know i must be getting something to the brake as it clicks when the cart is first switched on., and the cart will drive. Hopefully someone has seen this before. Thanks |
