After washing.. Problems..
Second question of the morning. So I've had my 2013 ezgo txt 48v for a couple of years now. I've washed it several times using a pressure washer and never had any problems. Recently while at the beach I washed it twice using only hose pressure minding the dash, without the key in the switch and both times it had a dead pedal issue and didn't want to engage. As I said I never had this issue after previous washings. The seat was down both times. Is there something that I can check where maybe something needs a little re - sealing? I know the controller is bolted on the side but there's also a box mounted on the bottom floor under the controller. Thanks for your input and thoughts.

Re: After washing.. Problems..
Statistically speaking the most likely cause is water in the ITS. The ITS (throttle signal) is located in a box under the pedal group. Not sealed water tight apparently. I've owned my TXT for 19 years and this happened to me once after washing it. A couple of hours in the sun and it was fine and been fine ever since. I'm careful about water around the pedal group now.
I'm assuming the TXT48 uses the same ITS system as previous models. This issue comes up fairly regularly. |

Re: After washing.. Problems..
The ITS is located in the pedal box under the floor mat directly behind the go pedal.
A hair dryer may be your best friend now, concentrate on drying out any micro switches or the ITS. |

Re: After washing.. Problems..
Care has to be taken to not get water where it should not be. And never was the cart with a pressure washer.

Re: After washing.. Problems..
So now I know it's inside a bolted box. Not having problems before but it seemed to have gotten wet these last two times of hose washing (not using a pressure washer) do the seals around the lid randomly deteriorate with time? Now seals available? Maybe some silicone to seal it back up?? Thanks for your help guys
