Default club car precedent not moving

I am a newbie and have question around a 2010 club car precedent. It will not move. It will kinda of jerk forward and in reverse. The reverse beeper works. The batteries are showing full charge. I noticed a problem recently that cart would not always go when pressing accelerator and would press and release then press the accelerator for it to go but now nothing forward or reverse. Any pointers for a newbie would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Press the accelerator rapidly about 30 times. If it improves you need a new MCOR.

Can you measure the total battery pack voltage with a multimeter?

I measure total voltage with multi meter on last negative and last positive correct?
I checked them individually and they all showed over 12v

I tried the accelerator thing and it did not seem to make a difference. I did notice it try to go a couple of time but not much

Well i feel stupid it appears to be a battery problem. The batteries checked out ok without load but with load there is one showing only 9v so guess that one gets replaced. I have one other stupid question. I live in small town and the place i have purchased batteries in past is now closed. Can you get 12v batteries at the auto parts store? thanks again for all the advice and help

you can. they can order you 12v deep cycle batteries if they don't already have some there on the rack (don't expect them to last a long time though)

Do not purchase 12 volt batteries unless they are clearly marked for use on Golf Carts. Commonly available marine deep cycle batteries are not built for the heavy and long term use a golf cart asks for. The correct type of battery might also be marked as a Commercial Deep Cycle. Again avoid Marine or RV Deep Cycle batteries as they will be short lived in cart use.

well new battery solved my problem thanks everyone for the help and advice. I am sure the new solenoid was needed sooner rather than later anyway.
I am glad it was an easy fix. I learned something along the way as well.
