That's true, Andy. They did look alike.....But every Melex I have seen has had the ID tag on the passenger side of the floor homp saying "made in poland'

No one has a guess? Does it look like it's wired wrong? Checked my batteries. All show 5.9 volts or 6.0 volts Got my charger to work. I've got 42.68 volts with the charger plugged in. Still only clicks at the solenoid.

Your batteries are flat. What does the pack read 30 minutes after the charger is turn off? Get an ezgo marathon wire diagram and compare to your cart until you figure out what you have.....Then start tracing out the problem.

This front end looks just like my 82. With one exception. The arm that runs from the idler arm to the drivers side hub on this cart is opposite from mine. My arm runs from the idler arm to the passenger side hub.

thats a 70 body with a newer rearend and motor they even moved the coil pack when they did the retrofit your probably wondering how I know this I did the same thing to mine recently try jumping the soilenoid and if it runs you know its the soilenoid mine went bad and even though it clicked it didnt work if that doesnt work check your mico switches
