Controller?
I found out that I have a Curtis 1204-015 controller. While looking up new ones I came across a Alltrax NPX4834. First of all will this be a good replacement? All the amperages look the same but it only has 3 large studs on it. B-, B+, and M-. My Curtis has 4 B-, B+, M-, and A2. What and where would A2 go on the Alltrex?
If this will not work in my 1991 Club Car 36V which ones does everyone recommend? Thanks, Robert |

Re: Controller?
A2 is not needed. In stock form a cable runs from the Motor A2 to the controller A2...then another cable from the controller A2 to the F/R switch. When you replace it with another controller or namely one without an A2 terminal you run a cable from the motor A2 straight to the F/R switch connection.
The Alltrax will work fine. An NPX controller I do not think is programable. Be sure and get the right throttle type. An AXE controller would be a better choice. |
