I've looked at them, should be called the Yamaha PreceDrive.

I have seen them...A couple of their "advancements" leave me scratching my head though...

Silly Yamaha, leave the big boys to come up with the stuff, and then you can take it and put your own name on it. I called Yamaha and gave them an "Over the Phone No No PM" about how they copied the Precedent with the Drive, they took it better than I thought.

Whenever I get a chance, I'm going to test drive a gasser Drive. I'll report back on it.

From what I've seen on Yamaha's website, it looks pretty much the same as a G22. I know the engine is the same, the 357F. But it has a new drive clutch and the rear end with the brakes inside it. I don't know how that will hold up over time though...
But sure, I'll try to get a gew pictures.

Sounds good. I'm just interested in any changes and different setups. I doubt anything will top the older Yamaha's. They were built tuff.

By the looks of it in pictures, and just some of the things they did that make me think "What the......!?!?" I doubt they are as tough either. Club Car purposely weakened the front susension on the Precedent because the DS didn't absorb inpact in a frontal collision hardly at all. Time will tell what Yamaha has screwed up, but it HAS to be something. We wouldn't want them lasting any amount of time. Gotta buy new ones every 5 years!!! I wonder if E-Z-GO will even put tires on their new mystery model.
