Columbia Parcar - Good batteries, LOW runtime
I have a Columbia Parcar, Summit model, I think 2010. Model SM2-TN, SN 5FCLS26A1000931. The charger is a Delta-Q 912-4800.
I replaced all 8 6-volt batteries 6 months ago. After that, I could run at least 10 days of occasional use. Lately, I get no longer than a 15 minute runtime after a full complete charge. (yes, I set the proper charger algorithm and it fully enters the maintenance mode when done). Any ideas? |

Re: Columbia Parcar - Good batteries, LOW runtime
Assuming no problem with the cart bad batteries or bad charger.
Start with a settled pack and record SG for each cell. Then monitor charging peak voltage readings for the pack and individual batteries. Let the pack sit idle for 24 hours and record voltage for pack and individual batteries along with another recording of the SG for each cell. This will give some idea of what might be going on. Post results here. |
