Yamaha Buzzer Switch Problem
If the Buzzer switch on my Yamaha Electric Cart was bad, would that cause the cart to not go either in forward or reverse. I do not hear the rely click on when I turn on the start switch. One of the wire terminals of the buzzer switch is broken.
Any help ? Also is this switch expensive ? |

Re: Yamaha Buzzer Switch Problem
Can you tell what cart you have ??
And whats a buzzer switch is?? Are you talking about your F/R switch and when you put it in reverse the buzzer sounds? |

Re: Yamaha Buzzer Switch Problem
Yes , I am not sure what model Yamaha Electric, I believe it may be a G2. IT is the micro switch on top of the F/R switch. When I used to put the cart in reverse the buzzed would sound. That switch has a broken terminal. Would that not working cause the cart not to move at all ? No rely/solenoid click when the key is turned on either..
Thanks Terry |

Re: Yamaha Buzzer Switch Problem
I have a parts schematic of a similar Yamaha and the F/R control switch number is item Number 53 (JG6100-1200) and the switch (buzzer switch) is item number 54 (J41-82617-00-00). I do not know how to ad a picture.

Re: Yamaha Buzzer Switch Problem
I can test it but it will do no good. The terminals that are on the switch that the wires connect 2 are broken off. I need to know if the cart will operate without this switch in the circuit, or does it depend on this to operate the motor. I would think not since it is for the backup buzzer, but am not sure.
