Default Strange Battery Setup

I have a old medalist that use around the campground. A guy gave me two very large capacity 12 volt deep cycle batteries, fork lift I think. Anyway heres the question can I use those two 12 volt batteries and two 6 volt batteries to build a battery pack? How would I wire them, figuring out the wiring is not my strong suit.

Are these 4D or 8D batteries?
It's not advisable to mix battery sizes or capacities.
Unless you used 3x12v big batteries that are all the same, stay away from this combo and stick with your stock 6x6v.

Thanks for the advise, I think I can get another 12 volt deep cycle. two of my batteries are shot so it either the 12 volt ones or all new 6 volts

Not just another 12v deep cycle, they all should be the same.
If you are going to use the 12v forklift batteries get 3.
