Default ez-go 3 wheeler battery setup

Ok i have a 3 wheeler ez-go cart not sure of the year 86 i think!

it is suppose to have 6 batteries but came with 2 12v deep cycle bat.. & 2 6v deep cycle bat.. it has 2 wires coming from the drivers side front for charging & only one wire off the moter ,now how would i connect these 4 bat...s & what is the wire setup ??

Welcome to the forum


It's not a good idea to use mis-matched batteries. Damage or worse could result from it....at best you toast a battery. Look at the stickes at the top of this forum and look for a wiring diagram. It sounds like you have a bunch of the cables missing.

the wiring diagram is for 6 batteries (sticky) i have 2 12v & 2 6v total 36v but how do i wire these up ? i know its a bad idea but ill take the risk !

the previus owner said it work fine.

You wire it just like you would the 6 volt batteries. Good luck!

The reason you can't find the answer in what roady told you is that you should not be doing what you are trying....The answer is there though....If you look at the correct wiring for your cart you will notice that all golf cart batteries connect in series. From there a battery is a battery pack, follow the diagram which fits your cart the best.
