G29 dead. Need help!
Need help troubleshooting. Cart was running fine for the last year. Took it out for a spin in the neighborhood last night. About a half mile in I lost power and the cart stopped. The juice meter was very dim and the cart did not move. Pulled it home and charged it all night. Turned the key on this morning and the controller kicks on, all 6 batteries are ranging 8.6 in voltage. Bright red meter. Go to talk off and the cart doesn't move and meter goes dim again. Pull the voltage on each battery and still 8.6. The cart has had the Plowman motor and Alltrax controller for a couple years now with no issues.
Any advice is appreciated. |

Re: G29 dead. Need help!
This seems like a battery or cable problem.
One of the cells in one battery may be bad and preventing current to pass as needed. You can check them with a hydrometer, glass float type from auto parts store. One could be failing under load conditions. Also check battery cables for corrosion on the terminal connections. |

Yes, if you had the plates exposed it can cause sulfation and cell loss.
Here is some info. https://deepcyclebatterystore.com/battery-sulfation/ It may be just that one battery but I would check them all with a hydrometer. |
