Default 3rd pin (signal wire) on receptacle. Where connect?

Yamaha G22E 48V

I have a 3 pin charger receptacle on one of my carts and the signal wire has been disconnected and I'm not sure where this connects to.

Do I need this to be connected to something in order for my charger to start charging (It's a DPI Accusense Battery Charger)? Thanks.

No the small grey wire in the middle of the receptacle does not plug into anything on the g22 it has to just hang there
