Now what do I do
We made the transition to the other side. 2009 48V electric Club Car. The wife liked the G9 gas but didn’t like the little gas smell in her garage after use and the noise of the engine. I broke down and found a really nice red and black 48v club car. Now what to do with the 94 G9. It runs good. 150lbs of cold compression. It has what sounds like a little rod knock but its likely the balancer. Would not know unless I took it apart. I have a rear flip-down seat and heavier springs on the back. Also a new primary clutch. I also have a Yardsport YS200 UTV. A little sidexside that runs great. I usually run on the streets in town and down gravel and min maintenance roads. Which one do I keep. They are both likely have the same value. Cant do much for mods on the yardsport which could be considered good or bad. I could do a lot of mods on the G9 but is it worth it. The G9 is bigger and with the flip-down rear seat has a bigger cargo area. What to do. The knock on the G9 has been there since we got it 4yrs ago. Might be a little louder now. I dont know. what do you G9 guys think. Not that I already know

Re: Now what do I do
Sell it to someone who wants to do an engine swap. Post it in the for sale section, put a price on it, location, and some good pics.

Re: Now what do I do
Since it sounds like the valves may have not been adjusted since you got it, try a valve adjustment and see if you still want to sell it. Valve noise is more likely source of noise, since it hasn't gotten any worse. An actual knock would have likely gotten much worse over 4 years of use.

Re: Now what do I do
I adusted the valves. They are on the loose side of the scale I know that. I have another issue now. Just posted a new thread. The thing started using oil after an oil change and I just about ran it out of oil. Puffing at startup now.
