2008 txt no spark
Hey guys, my 2008 EZGO TXT won’t start when I press the gas pedal. If I hold the pedal down for a long period of time “over a minute” it will eventually start. I thought it was a fuel issue at first so I changed the fuel pump. Still had same problem. After I pulled a spark plug I could see that it was wet with fuel. I checked for spark next with a spark tester, I don’t have any spark. I replaced the coil and that didn’t fix it. My question is what would cause it to not have spark? and what would cause it to suddenly get spark after holding the pedal down for a minute or so? Also replaced spark plugs same issue.

If your kill switch is bad, it will stop making spark (that's how the cart comes to a stop). Check your switch.
