Drive belt
How can you tell if and when you need to replace the drive belt. Short of the obvious..broke,cracked etc. Is there a size limit or something like that. Other than just replacing it at timed intervals. Thanks

Re: Drive belt
If your engine is adjusted all the way forward and the belt is excessively loose it may be time to replace it !

Re: Drive belt
Just wondered. I bought a new one to have on hand. One is starting to crack on the inside, but doesn`t slip and works fine for the moment. The other one looks fairly new still. I get my clutch back from Cartpartsplus tomorrow. The weights and washers were worn and I had them machine it for speed for me too....Drive clutch...NOT pulley!!

IMO... I'd put the new one on, and save the old one for a spare! |
