I guess that should have been my first thought but I assumed it would have enough charge since we just got it Christmas Eve from a reputable dealer - but you know what happens when you assume. I didn't have enough time to troubleshoot it today so I hope I can tomorrow.

Dumb question but can you jumpstart/recharge those things with jumper cables?

Yes but I hate jump start anything it puts a huge load on the gen/alternator.
put a charger on it and have another cup of coffee.

By the way welcome and if you don't post pics of your cart we will come over and graffiti it.

You said muddy the gen belt may be a bit loose and was slipping if wet???

Thanks for the welcome and the tips. I'm going to put a charger on it tonight and see what happens. Yeah, it went through a lot of mud and puddles Friday and Saturday so I thought maybe that had something to do with it but it seemed to run fine both days. No one tried it yesterday and today wouldn't start at all.

It's just a plain used golf course cart so my two sons would probably welcome the graffiti -they might even beat you to it...

Thanks again!

Charging didn't work. Gonna' go back out and check cables, etc. No garage or shed to work in so I've been reluctant to go out in the cold to go "under the hood." Called the dealer for service on Monday as a last resort but hoping I can figure it out before then...
