If you dont use the flathead, sell it to me, I need one to rebuild before mine dies.

PS I think the rod is the bearing, no inserts.

Hey Murphy I am still trying to figure out what way I am going to go on this deal. I have found a rebuild kit (crank, rod/piston/rings, bearings, etc.) for like $450.00 for the flat head but I believe it is only like an 8 HP motor and I think I won't be happy with that. I have a friend checking on a Honda motor for me right now so I will have to weigh out the pros and cons. But hey if I do go with something else rather than stock you will be first in line.

If you do the rebuild make sure you have a good cam, most kits dont have them.
