doesnt always go when pedal pressed
Hi
My club car gas doesn't always go the first time I press the pedal down. I wondered if it was the battery but if I take my foot of the pedal and press it down again it works as if nothing is wrong. It is also was running as if there is a blockage as it doesn't seam to be a quick as it has been. Any advice would be great. Thanks |

Re: doesnt always go when pedal pressed
You need to see if it is hanging up on the compression stroke. Lift the seat and watch the clutch as you press on the gas. Does the belt move at all? If it does, your starter brushes are probably wearing out. It is best to get them changed now before it damages the armature.
As far as loss of power, it could just need a tune up, and carb cleaning. Hard to tell not being right there. Also check the seal on the air box. A common issue is when replacing the air filter, not getting the box sealed right and tight. Can cause havoc trying to figure it out. |
