When I did mine, the belt was so tight the clutch was catching while it was starting making the cart move. Did you use your original belt or the Plowman's belt? Pics?

Now that mine is worn in it's loose like you say, I can work it off of the clutches pretty easily, however, it was super tight initially. I'd give Don Plowman a call. How does it shift? Does it seem to have good acceleration? If it runs and shifts good, I wouldn't worry about it, as long as the belt doesn't slip and/or come off the clutches.

when it goes low to stop it rubs a little on the engine mount and the ege of the belt is a little frad not real bad, it runs great it doesnt seem to slip, when its running its high rideing on the primary clutch, just dont want to come off thanks

If it's rubbing then it's too loose. Are you sure there isn't something like a broken engine mount?
