Sounds like moisture in the stop switch. Time for a new one. The switch can test differently when being measured statically vs dynamically.
70:1 is too rich. Run it 100:1, and you'll get a little more umph... The oil/gas mixture is likely from you trying to start the cart with no spark. Fuel didn't burn and ended up going into the exhaust. No biggy. |

Went ahead and ordered a new stop switch. Was told Yamaha does not make them anymore but there is an aftermarket one that is being sold now. Will report back once I get it installed. In in Canada and ordered it from the US, so it might be a couple weeks.
