Default Oil level after a lift

I just installed a 6” lift on my 2005 gas precedent cart. Before I did I changed my oil and filter and oil level on the dipstick was at the full mark. After the lift kit due to the angle of the engine transaxle assembly the oil level is now at the ADD mark...?? Is the ADD mark my new full level mark on the dipstick???

Default Re: Oil level after a lift

You'll need to find out how much oil your motor takes, fill it up to that exact amount at the next oil change, and see where you land on the dipstick.

On my two lifted carts, I lowered the front snubber bracket in order to level out the motor after I lifted them. You motor may not oil properly if the angle is too steep.
