throttle questions
I have replaced the entire fuel system on a mid 80s ezgo (85, 86) maybe. I did this because cart would only run a few feet then fall on it's face and back fire. I have replaced everything and I am still having the same issue, though it will run farther now. Once hot though it begins to backfire and run horrible, if at all. let it sit for a min or two and it will run again for a short period. Any suggestions on this would be great. Now for more a list of questions.
Should the after fuel pump filter be completely full of fuel? Cart off should the throttle be open, closed, or partly open? What are the functions of each cable attached to the throttle, excluding the actual throttle cable and choke. Thanks in advance for any help. Oh, and it's a two stroke, sure that will help.. |

Re: throttle questions
Here is what I know, The filters are not usually full. The throttle should be closed when the cart is off, unless the idle screw has been adjusted high. . Not sure about the cable you have mentioned.
