Re: What did you do to/for your EZGO today?
Ordered a voltmeter for the dash yesterday, ordered a 48V-12V DC-DC converter (reducer) today. Another member had ordered one of these. 25A model was only $45.99, and has free shipping (out of GA).

Put a new belt on my recently purchased Ezgo St 4x4. Wow what a difference.

Fix-A-Flat..
was going to just leave it there, but we finally had a break in the intense heat so I decided to clean up a few messes.. dangling Wires are now cleaned up, removed the radio weirdness I had installed switched to just an amp and an aux cable for music. the dash is starting to look like swiss cheese time to get some sheet metal and fix that. Thanks for the tip BigPOPPI i was needing a track for these strips..another 32ft(600LEDs) of programmable Lights just got added to the mix. |

Re: What did you do to/for your EZGO today?
What did I do to my EZ-Go today? Pushed it in the backyard (98 TXT 36v)
While trying to load it in my toy hauler last week I apparently smoked the controller - literally. 3/4's the way in and the cart stops. Checking the electronics finds a steady stream of smoke coming from the controller. Stopped at Cart shop in Laconia hoping for a good deal on a used one but all they had were new for $450. Don't really want to put a stock one back in. Now time to think about what to do. I just spent a fair some on replacing all the cables and converting the shifter to electronic with the $$$ HD solenoids. I'll need batteries anyway for next year so I was thinking about 8 6 volt bats and a 48v charger. Guess I'll have to figure in a new HD controller too................... |

Re: What did you do to/for your EZGO today?
Just winding up my first long weekend/bike rally with cart. Completely enjoyed the cart and its performance. Got a few compliments, ( always nice), and had a great time. Now I need an air horn

Someone really needs to invent a way to return the Magic Smoke to the electronic device from which it escaped. |
