I am still trying to figure the voltages out. According to RBB the max charge voltage should be 58.8v; I am seeing 59.1.
Mas voltage fully charges should be 58.8; I see 54.3 when the charger is unplugged.
BB said that the BMS is accessed Bluetooth via I-phone, but the only apps
i see are for android, and mot for my android version.
So.................confusion reigns!

ed. According to BB 100% capacity voltage ranges from 54.4 to 58.8v.........hmmmm
Mine reads 54.3 on the readout, but my DVM says 54.4.......
I need to get it installed and cycle it a few times to let the cells "settle in..."
So sayeth BB

Question 1: If that battery can be mounted in any position, why in the heck do they ship it standing up?

Question 2: We go to lithium to save weight. Why do you want a 200# frame for the battery?

Seriously, it is looking like it is going to fly soon. Did you order the wing kit for the cart? I think they are on Ebay.

Great job Ronno6! It looks like you're going to beat me.

BTW, I was informed today by BB that the charger is not weatherproof. So,
permanently mounting in the care will mean some kind of enclosure............
I may just make out of wood.

I have purchased this:

https://www.amazon.com/WELLUCK-Integ...8534685&sr=8-3

To replace my CC charger socket.Should bolt right in.

Ronno,

It's looking really good so far. It looks like there is plenty of room in that orientation, which is what I measured and expected/hoped.

I assume you are taking the wheels and wheel frame off before mounting in the cart.

Great job!

The BB charger looked less than onboard worthy. I was planning to use something else and am still in the research phase. My cart will be used exclusively in the desert for golf and short trips into town. So I'm also considering I might be able to get away with the one that came with the BB kit as an onboard charger.

Thanks Ronno for the screenshot of the barcode.
Also on the battery charger there’s a small set screw to adjust the outgoing voltage for charging down to 58.8V I talked with BB they said periodically to check the outgoing voltage and if need to be adjusted to adjust it with the setscrew to 58.8V

P.S. looking good by the way!

That socket might work for me too. I think I read ECO has something like that in their kit. I'll have to wait and see.

My cart is in the barn whenever it is not being driven. However, we got caught in a few torrential downpours over the years. Nothing under the seat has gotten wet as far as I could remember.

Now if it is stored outside, that might be another issue. But rather than worrying about it for now, I'll just take my chances and see what happens.

Putting it in an enclosure will shorted it's life as they need good ventilation.
