It is waving a red flag, but I'm not sure of if it is dangerous to motor or controller.

The two columns won't be exactly the same because the battery current is Motor current, plus Field amps, plus the housekeeping amps used by the controller and I'm pretty sure The motor current is the armature current only.

At throttle rates less than 100%, motor current will exceed battery current due to the flywheel effect of of applying pulsed DC to an inductor (armature), but at 100% throttle the output of the controller to the motor is pretty much pure DC and there is little if any flywheel effect, so the battery and motor current columns will be close to the same, less than about 10A difference, or at least that is what I see on datalogs with and without a speed sensor connected.

I cannot think of anything external to the controller that will cause the symptoms you have. Suggest forwarding datalog to Scotty and Alltrax.

How bad is it that current is like that?
Wait. What? Did you say FNKS ? have you tried all 3 modes?
If I programmed it normal is the lowest and 2 is the highest performance.

Well problem is solved. Thanks to scottyB and johnnB and Alltrax support. One the reason to all ways buy from great places and great products. ..

Problem. The speed sensor wire had a 90* bend at one point. So i broke the heat shrink down and notices some break in wire. Re wired that section and all good now. The method to test was remove speed sensor from alltrax software and unplug wire and try. Big diff. So then i knew wire hunt.

Did a test on ground. With the setting left from what Scotty set and some new 14" wheels I saw 25mph .. and it gets there quick.
