Are you saying the LEDs killed the reducer or you killed it when installing the LEDs?

I killed it while trying to keep memory power on my radio. That's the one fault I have with reducers. I'm old school, and like my radio stations to stay programmed. If all you do are CDs or iPhones, no worries.

No fault of the reducer.

I had 55 watt headlights, so I used a reducer, but once I changed to LEDs (and killed my reducer) my "little" battery can easily handle my stereo all day, and lights at night.

I guess I'm a little confused. You have a 12v tender tied into your carts 48v charger cable?? I was just talking a about using a cig plug as a charger port for the acc battery and tender. I have everything going to a reducer always on but with switches and fuse panel. But no radio. I like your Exray display location. I'm just using the CNC mount they make.

Cigarette lighter plug for charging. I just wire tied them together for convenience. I pull my DPI cable and the 12 volt Tender comes along with it. Two completely independent circuits.

Wire ties, are something I hoard, every time I buy something with a wire/cable. Like old time bread bag ties. I use them for quick clean=up of multiple cables behind my TV. I could use the plastic zip ties, but like the convenience of being able to remove, and replace, without wire cutters.

I use zip ties on everything on the buggy, including my speedo sensor wire.
