Batteries can short internally - Sounds like your dealer either does not know that or will not admit it.
Good he warrantied it

I wonder if it had a bad cell from the factory and the amps being pulled from your AC system just did it in.

When you first had the problem, when you had to push it home, what kind of situation was the cart in? I.E. WOT, pulling an incline, loaded down, etc.?

Glad they warrantied the battery for you. The plates inside the battery probably shorted or arced against one another. The spark could have come from a loose connection but I suspect it was internal. Sounds like your dealer didn't want to say it was possibly a defective battery.

The first time I had the problem was a hard take off. I call the guy a hpevs and he said the samething y'all said about being a bad battery and internal short.
Thanks again

So, since the failure was somehow "your fault", why was the battery voltage now 4.xx? Batteries with low fluid won't instantly drop that far. I suppose you sent in the evil gremlins to sabotage.. it was a bad battery.

I'd wash the bottom of the seat with a baking soda solution, as well as anything else that may have been sprayed with acid.
