Default steering adjustment and parts questions

hey everybody
it been a while since I posted been very busy. Finally was able to get back on the cart 94 marathon.

the latest adventure is steering. here is what has been replaced. rack for steering , idler shaft and bushings , long tierod assy the one with tow pins.
4 in lift 10 inch wheels no shocks right now but no batteries either. I have the other two tirerods.

Questions
1. with the steering wheel centered. Counted turn to turn then half, it the idler suppose to be centered?

2. does anybody know where to get just the short tierod tube. the part # i have is for entire assy. or do I need to send the two ends back?

3. If the tube is not available how do I get the old ends out. I know how the are suppose to come out. It looks like the nuts are part of the tube.

4. is there a toe setting or just wheels pointed fwd.
