Voltage regular
Volt regulator reads 36 volts but when cart is driven goes down to 30 volts and cart stops and has to be recharged on a daily basis what would cause cart to stop all at once without no warning other than bad batteries

Re: Voltage regular
Sounds like your batteries are shot. There should be a code on them with a letter followed by a number. Something like d4. The letter corresponds to the month, and the number is the year they were made. I think 5-6 is a decent lifespan for a pack that was maintained.
If you have a multimeter, test the total pack voltage along with each individual battery. You want the number to the second decimal. The attached chart will give you an idea of how low 36v actually is. |

If your volt meter is reading 36 volts even then your pack is already under 50% charged. Then it drops to 30 volts That's a dead pack. You need to take a digital volt meter and check all 6 batteries, report the voltage here (example 6.37v) please post to the 2nd digit after the decimal. You may just have one bad battery |

Re: Voltage regular
Well, this is part of what happened to them, you were supposed to be charging them every day, after every use the whole time, not just when they couldn't do the job anymore.
