Thanks Scotty but you lost me on a lot of that. I'm not the greatest when it comes to the electrical side of this thing. If you don't mind could you give me a little more detail please. Not sure how to check for continuity everywhere, is there a wiring diagram for that?

The solenoid is clicking though.

Here is a short video on my website which will show you how to use your multimeter to test continuity ( at the places I suggested. Don't have a meter? The video will tell you what to get and where.

I think the problem is in my motor. I hooked up wires to test it like in the diagram. All I am getting is a spark, no movement.Ugh.... is there any hope?

You Might have a motor problem, innocent kid just parked it? Not if the motor is bad..... Did you do the continuity tests I suggested on the motor? Go back and read it.

I do remember when I tried to move it into the garage I smelled a slight burnt smell, thought it was the solenoid but obviously it wasn't. When I'm doing the continuity testing should I have the key on? I'm good on the mechanical side just not so much with electrical

Battery pack is reading 38.1 V .
When I tested the small white wire on the 4 plug it read 7.6 V and with full pedal it red 5.6 V.
I had 6.8 V when I probed the small white and black wire in the 4 pin.

The FR switch has correct voltage as well as the key switch.

I changed out the ITS from a cart I have at work and it is working but is still reading 7.6V

As you know I have the new controller and new solenoid with all new 2 gauge cables. Solenoid is clicking every time.

I can't find how to check continuity to the motor. Should it have moved when I tried jumping the motor instead of just sparking? This is driving me a bit crazy and I will probably be bald by the end of the week.

If you watched the video I linked you to you know how to test for continuity with your multi-meter...
Mark and remove all 4 motor wires. With the meter set to Continuity you should not have any continuity between any A and any F terminal. If you do it's history. Ask the kid how far they pushed had to it - LOL

If you smell burnt electrical AND have any continuity between any A and any F we are beating a dead horse. The new controller is reverse polarity protected. Pull the motor and sniff it.

Ok thanks! I had no idea I needed to pull the wires off the motor to check. Like I said electrical ain't my thing but I'm learning. Funny thing is I saw the kids pull the cart up in to the driveway that day, everything seemed fine.
