RXV parking brake stuck on motor
My neighbor called and said he had watched the video and was attempting to remove the brake from his 2013 RXV cart (brake would not release via manual listed procedures)...with bolts removed the brake spins when cart is rolled...
What is the suggested method to get the brake off the motor...? |

Re: RXV parking brake stuck on motor
I used a flat screwdriver and gently pried mine off. I started on the bottom and did a little, then the side and a little, then the top a little and started over. Took a little work but it came off. It's got a little weight to it so keep your face clear if under the cart.

Re: RXV parking brake stuck on motor
Thanks...we got it starting with a putty knife...after finding it stuck I had figured the worst...but after opening up the brake there was just a little rust and some corrosion...we cleaned it up and put it back together and all is good...Thanks again for the reply...
