Thanks Again
That tire size is the same as an OEM golf cart tire, just like what came on the cart originally. It would NOT require any lift kit and would look silly on a lifted cart.

205 is tire width in millimeters (8.070866 inches)
50 is the tire with the sidewall height ratio (50%)
10 is the rim diameter in inches.

50% of 8.070866" is roughly 4"
There is 4" of tire above the rim as well as 4" of tire below the rim, so total tire height is a whisper over 18", or roughly stock height tires, but narrower. (Stock = 18" tall, 8.5" wide, while these are 18" tall and 8" wide)

Thanks for that Bob. I think I read something similar in one of your other posts.

If I go to smaller wheels and tires what size would be recommended.

Thanks

I'd adjust the alignment first. May get rid of the problem and costs nothing. Smaller wheels and tires might help some but if the steering isn't right, it will still be unstable.

Going with smaller tires might not correct the issue if the alignment is way out of spec.

20" to 20.5" would be good. You could even go back to stock height to fix the raised center of gravity. If the alignment was good before the lift kit and larger tires were put on, it should be better with the smaller tires.

I also will check the alignement before, because, i ride 23" tire on my 6" jakes lifted rvx, and even at 26mph i can take both hand off the steering wheel.. One of my friend rvx did the exact same thing as your, it turn out that the wheel was out of alignement, and the A-arm bolt was all loose,,might worth to take a look...

I have searched and read the posts on adjusting toe-In. So I am going to try it myself with help on here I think I can do it . First question is how do I separate the tie rod end from the steering knuckle? It seems that it is a ball joint type set up. Do I need special tools for this? Or am I over my head on this?

Thanks,
