Western lowering kit
I have a 2001 western that has an pre 2001 ezgo frame. It does not have electric steering. I see ezgo sells a lowering kit for a 2001.5 + with electric steering. Does anyone know if that kit would still bolt up to my cart?
I googled and researched all topics on this page and cannot find the answer. I want the lower spindles so I won’t have to modify the steering. Also i have a 42 volt system and my battery’s are now bad. I am looking into maybe upgrading to a 48v system or going lithium. There is not much information out there to go by though. Re: Western lowering kit
There are a few members who have gone lithium on this site. I just bought all the parts to do so myself as well.
I think the lowering kit was for a 2001.5 electric cart. Golf cart's have manual steering, no electric or hydraulic help. The 2001.5 cart only fits 2001.5 and newer electric EZGO. If your EZGO frame is older than 2001.5 it won't bolt up. |
