If that is an MCOR model, you leave the key off and pump the pedal 30 times and then see if it is any better.

If this is an IQ cart it may not be the MCOR. It could be that you need to add a diode. I had that problem with my 2002 DS. It would drop out going down hills at quicker speeds. I talked to Dave at reolution and ordered the diode. Real easy to add. Plugs in in line. About $15 if I remember and problem dolved.

CC discontinued the Drop-Out Harness about 8 months ago. If that is the issue, he will have to fab his own adapter to add into the harness.

That is the bad news, the good news is that You can save 95% of the cost of that harness by just buying the diode.

If You cannot find a single unit locally, get a pack from Amazon (they are also good for high-power contactors and solenoids flyback, Regen diode, etc..):
https://www.amazon.com/20-Pieces-10A...5CN/ref=sr_1_5
You can either cut the gray wire near controller Pin #9 and install the diode with the stripe (cathode) facing the Controller, or cut one of the wires off the Tow/run switch and install the diode there, the stripped end should point away from the Solenoid/pink wire.

There are two tests for the MCOR since there is a pot and a switch inside.

Noles test only covers the pot and if your problem is that the cart is losing all power it may be related to the switch rather than the pot.

To test the Switch in the MCOR, unplug the two pin connector and jumper the pins in the plug with a paper clip. Tape over it so it doesn't touch anything metal, then drive the cart and see if you still have the same problem.

But remember, in an IQ cart this is only a permissive to pull the solenoid low from the controller. Once it is made and the cart running, the MS in the MCOR has no effect unless he lets off completely to where the carts stops and the solenoid opens. (That is why if the solenoid is not closing, you jumper the MS to see if you can complete the circuit with that permissive.)

And with little to no description of the actual problem... maybe that's what is happening?

Other possibility would be the batteries are just shot.
